Peru, IL - After the previous day's mercy rule victory, the Burlington Bees (13-31, 7-8) were shutout on the road by the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp (30-15, 13-6). The final score was 11-0 in a seven inning loss.

Five Pistol Shrimp Pitchers combined for the zero. Kolton Floor registered the win.

The Bees posted one hit, coming off the bat of Landon Akers (Bellarmine) in the fourth. He ended up being thrown out in a double play, ending the team's momentum.

The scoring came in bunches for Illinois Valley. The team scored three on one hit in the third and added eight in the fourth on five hits.
