Bees Lose on the Road, 4-2

O'Fallon, MO - The Burlington Bees (1-3) pitchers bounced back, allowing only five hits, but
the bats came up short as the team dropped its third straight against the O'Fallon Hoots (3-2) by a
score of 4-2 at CarShield Field June 1.

A combination of three pitchers gave up only four earned runs, including a three-inning start
from Nathan Chapman (McHenry County College), who allowed one hit and no runs.

Bobby Helt (Lake Erie College) pitched 4.1 innings out of relief, letting up three hits and two
earned runs with six strikeouts. Helt has now pitched over three innings in both of his
appearances this season, totaling 7.1 innings and giving up three total runs.

Burlington strung together its two runs in the sixth inning, with Jackson Rooker (Tennessee
Tech) walking in a run and Cooper Donlin reaching on a fielder's choice (Hawaii-Pacific).
Donlin leads the team in RBI's with three.

The Bees return home June 2 for a divisional matchup with the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp
(3-2), as the team's looks to snap its three-game losing skid. The game takes place at 2 p.m., with
it being Educator Appreciation Day.
