O'Fallon, MO - The Burlington Bees (1-2) endured a 15-2, seven-inning loss to the O'Fallon
Hoots (2-2) on May 31 at Carshield Field in the team's first game on the road.
O'Fallon wasted no time jumping on the scoresheet, posting four runs in the bottom of the first
and never looked back.
The only Bees runs came on a homerun from Cooper Donlin (Hawaii-Pacific) in the top of the
third. Burlington has hit a homer in every game this season.
Three pitchers threw for the Bees, with Shea Blanchard (Hawaii-Pacific) getting the start and
giving up five earned runs in 1.2 innings of work.
Burlington has lost two straight games and looks to bounce back on the road in their third
consecutive matchup against O'Fallon on June 1.
